			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My daughter Hannah is 1 week old today (1/2) and she just got her first bath at home. Chris and I were a bit scared and don&#8217;t know how and where to start, it&#8217;s been awhile&#8230;.</p>
<p>She has another doctor appointment tomorrow and we&#8217;re hoping she gain more weight this tme&#8230;she was dehydrated in her 2 to 3 days at home &#8212; not getting enough milk from me. But everything&#8217;s okay and Hannah is a happy baby. I&#8217;m such a proud Momma!</p>

<p><strong>Tuesday– 12/1 – Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -91)</p>
<p>9 am- I had 1 cup hot chocolate, 1 bagel with salmon spreadable cream (BG-145)</p>
<p>1:15 &#8211; I had Ravioli (BG-110) see DN!</p>
<p>7pm &#8211; I had ravioli with meatballs, 2 mandarin and milk (BG-130)</p>
<p><strong>Thursday– 12/2 – Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Forgot to do the test&#8230;</p>
<p>9:00 am- I had 1/2 cup hot chocolate, 1/2 bagel with salmon(BG-147)</p>
<p>12:00pm- I had 1 1/2 cup of rice and corned beef with peas/potatoes  in it and water (after an hour BG- 130)</p>
<p>6:15pm- DN -I had 1 1/2 cup of rice and corned beef with peas/potatoes  in it and 1 1/2 canned of soda, and apple pie (after an hour BG- 160)</p>
<p><strong>Friday– 12/3 – Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -85)</p>
<p>9:40 am &#8211; I had 3 sausages, potatoes and scrambled egg, a cup of nesquick chocolate (after an hour BG&#8212;102)</p>
<p>1:55pm -DN- I had rice with corned beef, duck egg and milk, 2 mandarin (after an hour BG&#8212;120)</p>
<p><strong>Saturday– 12/4 – Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -90)</p>
<p>7:45 -I had 1 cup of chocolate and bagel with salmon cream (after an hour BG&#8212;104)</p>
<p>11:30 &#8211; I had fried rice, orange chicken, chow mein and soda (after an hour BG&#8212;145)</p>
<p>10pm &#8211; Dinner&#8212;-I had 2 glasses of milk- party party&#8230;lots of food (BG-146)</p>
<p><strong>Sunday– 12/5 – Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -84)</p>
<p>9:35am- I had 1 crescent and  1/2 cup of nesquick chocolate, 2 mandarin (after an hour and 15 minutes  BG&#8212;75)</p>

<p><strong>Monday– 12/6 – Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -94)</p>
<p>12:15pm- I had 1 1/2 cup of rice with monggos and duck egg and 1 mandarin (after an hour BG- 148)</p>

<p><strong>Tuesday– 12/7 – Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -81) after breakfast BG-81</p>
<p>12:38 pm- I had 1 cup of rice with monggos and duck egg,1/2 cup of milk and  gorilla bread for my dessert (BG-121)</p>
<p><strong>Wednesday– 12/8 – Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -93)</p>
<p>Breakfast&#8211;I had 2 crescent and hot chocolate- after breakfast BG-156</p>
<p>I had rice with noodles and fish, milk and gorilla breadLunch- (BG- 150</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p> I had appointment with the specialist dietitian. She told me no juice for me and 1 cup cooked rice per meal is allowed. This is difficult but I am willing to do it. I have to test on my finger 4x a day  to keep track my blood sugar. I did it this morning during my appointment and my blood sugar result is 116 which is normal. Yay:)<br />
<strong>Thursday &#8211; 11/11 &#8211; Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>12:00 pm- I had 1 cup cooked rice, 3 pcs. breakfast sausage and a glass of milk. Some canned tropical fruits for my dessert. 1 hour after meal (Blood sugar -182)</p>
<p>4pm- a cup of rice and beef stew, 2 lumpia vegetable roll, water</p>
<p>6:45pm &#8211; 3/4 cup of cheerios,2 tablespoon of raisins and milk (1 hour after dinner (Blood sugar -168)</p>
<p><strong>Friday &#8211; 11/12- Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -98)</p>
<p>7:20 am- 2 toast bread with salmon cream cheese and 1 cup of cappuccino (BS-164)</p>
<p>12:50pm -1 cup cooked of rice, orange chicken and a glass of milk ((BS -198)</p>
<p>3:45pm &#8211; Yoplait yogurt (snack) /very little amount of Almond nuts</p>
<p>6:50-7pm -DINNER&#8211;1 cup rice, sardines and a glass of milk. 1/2 banana for my dessert. (BS -169)</p>
<p>Okay, 1 cup cooked rice per meal is not enough for me. I find it so hard to follow but I have no choice. I don&#8217;t want to put my baby at risk&#8230;I&#8217;ll do what is best for me and the baby.</p>
<p><strong>Saturday &#8211; 11/13- Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -93)</p>
<p>8:25 am &#8211; 1 cup of swiss miss hot chocolate, 1 boiled egg (BS -98)</p>
<p>11am &#8211; Morning snack &#8211;1/2 banana</p>
<p>12pm -LN&#8211;1 cup of rice, with sardines and 1/2 cup of milk (BS -108)</p>
<p>4pm &#8211; had heavy snack&#8211;rice and rotisserie chicken with gravy, cakes and grapes</p>
<p>9 pm &#8211; Grapes/water (BS-104)</p>
<p><strong>Sunday &#8211; 11/14- Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>9:05 am &#8211;Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -86)</p>
<p>10:15 am &#8211; 1 cup of swiss miss hot chocolate and 1 boiled egg (BS-100)</p>
<p>Morning snack&#8211;Almonds/water</p>
<p>1:15 pm -LN&#8211;1 cup of rice, with rotisserie chicken and 3/4 cup of milk, small amount of bacon  (BS -134)</p>
<p>Afternoon snack &#8211; 1/2 banana, after an hour  I got hungry, ate 2 crescent and had 1 cup of nesquick chocolate</p>
<p>7pm &#8211; 1 cup of rice with orange chicken, 1/2 cup of milk (BS -166)</p>
<p>Midnight snack- blue berry light yoplait</p>
<p><strong>Monday &#8211; 11/15- Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast (BS -90)</p>
<p>9am &#8211; 1 cup of hot choco swiss miss, 1 bolied egg and 1 crescent (BS -97)</p>
<p>11am &#8211; LN- -Chicken enchiladas, water and 1/2 banana (BS -111)</p>
<p>Afternoon snack &#8211; 1 whole kiwi, water&#8230;(cookie tasting)</p>
<p>6pm &#8211; DN&#8211; Chicken enchiladas, 3/4 cup of milk</p>
<p><strong>Monday– 11/29 – Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -89)</p>
<p> 8:00 am- I had 1/2 cup hot chocolate, 1 boiled egg and 1 crescent (bs-120)</p>
<p>Lunch- BS- 147</p>
<p>Dinner- (6PM&#8211;BS-155)</p>
<p><strong>Tuesday– 11/30 – Food Intake</strong></p>
<p>Before breakfast my blood sugar (BS -89)</p>
<p>After breakfast- (10:42am-BS 94) &#8211; 1 cup chocolate and 1 crescent (almost 2 hours)</p>
<p>After lunch -BG-186</p>
<p>7:00- pm -DINNER–I had 1 hotdog, 2 mandarin and water (BG -126)</p>

<p>I am 8 months pregnant today, 32 weeks along.  I am getting excited more each day, 56 days to go. Everything&#8217;s okay except that I was recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I  have my doctor appointment and also for the gestational diabetes next week. I am dreading to see the dietician. I hope all goes well because I don&#8217;t want to prick my fingers  and check my blood test everyday. (knock on wood). I know I have to be very careful and have my sugar monitored. I am willing to go on a food diet  and willing to try anything  just no to finger-pricks. I don&#8217;t like needles.</p>

<p>We were off to Sacramento for trick or treating last night. At first, we were hesitant to go to Zoo due to the weather, supposed to be rain later that night but it didn&#8217;t. I know the boo at the zoo event will happen rain or shine! We brought our umbrellas  just incase. As the weather sometimes iffy.We got there 4;15pm, It&#8217;s a good thing we bought our tickets online or else we have to fall in line twice, cause the line was pretty long. The event started at 4:30 to 8:30pm. Casey was very excited to do trick or treating. She said, Halloween is her favorite holiday &#8212;I wonder why (lol)</p>
<p> We visited the haunted house, Casey rode their creepy carousel. She had a great time doing trick or treating. She got lots of  CANDIES. The boo at the zoo event is great for kids/ families. Kids can safely trick-or-treat around the lake at 17 different candy stations! We all had a fantastic night and made us decide to do this every year.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m 30 weeks pregnant, weighed 136 lbs and gets easily tired. My back is killing me. As my belly grows, I am experiencing the sharp pains more often now but I know this is pretty normal.  This is her momemt and because of this everything was so wonderful and I was able to savor every flip, every kick. This is our moment and I&#8217;m happy. I can&#8217;t wait  for the day that I could cuddle and kiss my apple pie.  It&#8217;s getting closer&#8212;Oh, it&#8217;s so cute, so enjoyable and very entertaining when every time I tap on my belly, she responses instantly by poking back  at the same spot I touched&#8211;I&#8217;m in love again for the 3rd time (LOL).</p>
<p>One evening, I was watching TV and my baby was nonstop moving , kicking poking and rolling, it feels like she do the gymnastic just to get my attention. Demand my attention already? LOL I turned the lamp shade on and grabbed my video so I can videotape my belly moves but she stopped moving, I noticed this a few times, she didn&#8217;t like the lamp shade on. I know according to parents.com article, my baby would react to the lights now.</p>
<p>At this stage, I would say, I have a pretty good appetite, it&#8217;s so good to eat all the time but having heart burn after eating  was not fun at all, so I have to slow down a little bit&#8230;.</p>
<p>I had doctor appointment today and Dr. Akin suggested to limit my rice and if I can wait 2 1/2 months not to eat rice, then do so for the sake of the baby. I don&#8217;t think I can do it but to cut back/limit, I would say yes! I think I can do it. 2 1/2 months without rice, it&#8217;s not gonna happen.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Monday &#8211; 10/25-Food intake</strong></p>
<p>2:20 am- I had a full glass of milk (obviously I am still awake. I couldn&#8217;t sleep. This could be because of my cappuccino I had yesterday and short nap in the afternoon. I read the pregnancy book hoping this will help me put to sleep. My eyes were tired and eventually nod off about 3:15am.</p>
<p>9:30 am- I woke up 15 minutes before 9am. I had a cup of nesquick chocolate and 2 crescent. 1 Banana and took my prenatal vitamins.</p>
<p>12:00pm &#8211; I had a plate of Ravioli/meatballs and Lucerne mixed berry smoothie for my lunch &#8211;full tummy!</p>
<p>4:10 pm &#8211; I had rice and milk fish again, a half glass of simply orange juice and apple pie for my dessert&#8230;drinking lots of water&#8230;water&#8230;water</p>
<p>9:45 pm &#8211; Yoplait strawberry-mango yogurt, a small bowl of honey bunches of oats and unsalted peanut for my dessert.</p>
<p><strong>Tuesday &#8211; 10/26-Food intake</strong></p>
<p>8:13am- I had Yoplait strawberry yogurt and 1/2 banana with prenatal vitamins. (At 9am, we headed to Rosevile to make reservations for our upcoming Christmas party at Maidu Recreation Center), on the way home, I am feeling dizzy, have headache and feeling weak. I went straight to bed as soon as we got home, tummy was upset, I am guessing maybe I didn&#8217;t have my hot chocolate milk, I must have my chocolate milk and bread every mornings but decided to eat just yogurt and everything messed up so, Chris ended up fixing chocolate milk and 2 crescent for me and tummy was satisfied. Whoa! what&#8217;s in the chocolate milk that is so satisfying&#8230;</p>
<p>12;45 pm- I had 3 soft tacos from taco bell for my lunch and half glass of simply orange juice, oh it was soooooo good &#8211; it was a nice treat!</p>
<p>5:24 pm- I had 1 boiled egg and 1 Lucerne strawberry light smoothie</p>
<p>7:15 pm &#8211; I had a heavy dinner (large amount of rice, milk fish and bicol express) a full glass of cranberry juice. 1 Ghirardelli 60% dark chocolate. I had to walk due to stomach fullness.</p>
<p><strong>Wednesday &#8211; 10/27-Food intake</strong></p>
<p>9:30 am &#8211; I had a  cup of hot chocolate and 2 crescent, 1 banana (prenatal vitamins) ah, good breakfast! I have doctor appointment today, hope everythig&#8217;s fine&#8211; getting ready to take a bath.</p>
<p>1:15 pm &#8211; I had broiled chicken with baked potatoes, half glass of cranberry juice&#8230;water</p>
<p>3:10 pm- I had 1 big pandesal bread with cheese and  2 small glass of dole pineapple juice</p>
<p>7:00 pm- I had small amount of rice and tuna with kalamansi, a glass of milk</p>
<p>10:00 pm &#8211; 1 Yoplait strawberry yogurt&#8230;water</p>
<p><strong>Thursday - 10/28-Food intake</strong></p>
<p>9 am - A cup of chocolate milk and 2 nesquick, 1 Banana (took prenatal vitamins)</p>
<p>12pm &#8211; 2 soft tacos from taco bell and half glass of cranberry juice</p>
<p>3:10 pm -3 chciken nuggets and little amount of french fries, wild berry smoothie and fruits/ walnuts</p>
<p>8pm &#8211; I had clam chowder with sourdough at Boudin SF &#8212; a small bite of chewy chocolate chips(Fountain in Roseville)</p>
<p>9:30 pm -before going to bed I had 1/2 of Yoplait strawberrysmoothie</p>
<p><strong>Friday - 10/29-Food intake</strong></p>
<p>1 am &#8211; I finished my yoplait strawberry smoothie (1/2)</p>
<p>7:20 am - a cup of hot chocolate milk and 2 crescents</p>
<p>11:45 am &#8211; 1 tacos and a glass of orange juice</p>
<p>1:45 pm &#8211; a variety of food (nuggets,  1 hotdog wrapped with crescent, apple juice</p>
<p>7 pm &#8211; I had rice and tuna and bicol express, a half glass of orange juice, milk and small bite of chewy choco chips (yoplait meixed berry smoothie)</p>
<p><strong>Saturday &#8211; 10/30-Food intake</strong></p>
<p>9:45 am &#8211; I had 1 bagel with salmon spreadable and a cup of hot chocolate. A bowl of black grapes (took prenatal)</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve been craving to eat gorilla bread every morning. To satisfy the cravings, I planned to wake up early this morning (which I did) so, I can make Gorilla bread but I didn&#8217;t realize I don&#8217;t have bundt pan which is I need it for making gorilla bread. I thought I have bundt pan but Chris reminded me that the one I have was for the angel food cake. So, no gorilla bread for me today.</p>
<p>In these last few weeks, I&#8217;ve been over indulge on sugary foods and I really need to keep track on my diet. I feel guilty knowing I am pregnant and I am not sure if I am eating right. I made a decision to keep track on my food intake starting today.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s my food intake:</p>
<p>8:30am- I had a half bowl of cereal with no milk</p>
<p>9:00 am- I had Lucerne strawberry smoothie</p>
<p>9:45am-I had scrambled egg, 1 glass of simply orange juice and 1 banana (and prenatal vitamins)</p>
<p>1:30 pm- I had rice, ginataang kalabasa, bicol express and 1/2 glass of simply orange juice and  also had slices/cubes of brownies for my dessert</p>
<p>5: 00 pm &#8211; A cup of cappuccino and 2 slice of bread (note: my first sip of cappuccino since I found out I am pregnant) I love cap, I&#8217;ve been a big  fan of cappucino -Caffee D&#8217;Vita&#8221;, it&#8217;s so difficult for me to resist the temptation when craving hits. Anyway, so, far I am good(I think) and less guilty especially when I read the label 99.7 % caffeine free.  I guess I&#8217;ll have to wait until the apple pie is out of the womb to drink again cappucino.</p>
<p>9:20pm &#8211; I had rice again and milk fish (paksiw) with bicol express. A glass of cranberry juice this time and 1 dove dark chocolate&#8211; lots of water and then milk before bed.</p>
<p>Okay, the clock says 11:27 pm and I&#8217;m still awake. Logging off now and soon&#8230; zzzzzzzzzzzz</p>

<p>We were off  to Williamson school for  the harvest festival on Friday, this is not so happy moments for the 3 of us. At first, Casey wasn&#8217;t behaving and did push my buttons to ruin all the fun. I completely and totally lost my cool but I managed to calm down eventually and went home happy &#8211; Not the best night we had though. I am not sure if just because of Casey or  because of the pregnancy emotions gone wild. Anyhow, she had butterfly tatoo and goodies from the festival and in the mood for the pictures after all the drama. ah, I wished she had fun.</p>

At that very moment, being surrounded with all my very supportive friends and family, was such a joy. I can&#8217;t put my thought into words about how happy and blessed I am. It was such overwhelming support. The food were great, the location was wonderful, and everything was just perfect! I had a great time &#8211; I am VERY happy! Thanks to Merlina, who planned everything for my baby shower. To Judy, thanks, your fruit stroller was awesome, to Raquel, thanks for always being there for me. You are such a big help. Devy, thank you for always willing to help. I really appreciate you guys for everything you&#8217;ve done. And to all who came to my baby shower &#8211; Thank you!</p>
